On July 29, Denny Matthews voice of the Kansas City Royals will be inducted into the broadcaster's wing of the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York.
Matthews has been the radio play-by-play announcer for the Royals since their inaugural season in 1969. He talks about the history of the Royals, some of their great players including George Brett, and the unusual way he got the Royals job in 1968.
